Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Authors who submit manuscripts to COMPUTA: Journal of Computing and User-Technology Applications agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain the copyright of their published articles.
- Authors grant COMPUTA: Journal of Computing and User-Technology Applications the right of first publication and the right to publish, reproduce, distribute, and make the article available online through the journal website and other scholarly indexing, archiving, and dissemination platforms.
- Articles published in COMPUTA are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits others to copy, distribute, display, adapt, and build upon the work, including for commercial purposes, provided that proper credit is given to the original authors and the original publication in this journal.
- Authors are permitted to share, deposit, and distribute their published articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, academic social networks, or other non-commercial and scholarly platforms, provided that the original publication in COMPUTA is properly cited.
- Authors declare that the submitted manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- Authors are responsible for ensuring that all materials included in the manuscript, such as figures, tables, datasets, software, images, and other copyrighted materials, have been properly cited and, where necessary, have obtained appropriate permission for publication.
- Authors agree that the published article may be used for indexing, abstracting, citation tracking, metadata distribution, academic archiving, and other scholarly communication purposes.
- By submitting a manuscript to COMPUTA, authors confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to this copyright notice.
Privacy Statement
The names, email addresses, affiliations, ORCID iDs, and other personal information entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the purposes of COMPUTA: Journal of Computing and User-Technology Applications. These purposes include user registration, manuscript submission, editorial communication, peer-review management, publication, indexing, metadata dissemination, and other scholarly publishing activities.
The journal will not sell, rent, exchange, or disclose user data to third parties for commercial purposes. Any information shared with indexing services, DOI agencies, abstracting databases, or scholarly communication platforms will be limited to the data required for publication, citation, discovery, and academic dissemination.
COMPUTA is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of user information within the journal management system.
