Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors are required to prepare their manuscripts using the official COMPUTA: Journal of Computing and User-Technology Applications manuscript template. The template has been provided to ensure consistency in article structure, formatting style, citation layout, tables, figures, and reference presentation.

Manuscripts that do not follow the official template may be returned to the authors for formatting revision before entering the peer-review process. Authors are advised to carefully read the template instructions and ensure that all required sections, including title, author information, abstract, keywords, introduction, method, results and discussion, conclusion, and references, are properly completed before submission.

The names, email addresses, affiliations, ORCID iDs, and other personal information entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the purposes of COMPUTA: Journal of Computing and User-Technology Applications. These purposes include user registration, manuscript submission, editorial communication, peer-review management, publication, indexing, metadata dissemination, and other scholarly publishing activities.

The journal will not sell, rent, exchange, or disclose user data to third parties for commercial purposes. Any information shared with indexing services, DOI agencies, abstracting databases, or scholarly communication platforms will be limited to the data required for publication, citation, discovery, and academic dissemination.
