The main problems faced by partners include low student interest in reading, the dominance of conventional learning methods, and limited contextual and interesting reading materials. This program applies a contextual learning approach based on information and communication technology (ICT) through training and assistance in utilizing the Dongeng Nusantara educational portal. The implementation methods include preparation, socialization, technical training, collaborative workshops, as well as monitoring and evaluation. The results of the activity showed an increase in teacher competence of ≥80% in integrating local cultural values into literacy learning. In addition, teachers were able to independently develop story-based learning modules. The outputs of the activity, in the form of literacy modules and a collaborative network between teachers, support the sustainability of the program. This activity contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) number 4 on quality education and the National Research Master Plan in the Social Humanities and Education cluster. The positive impacts include strengthening local cultural identity, increasing students' understanding of moral values, and the potential for replicating the program in other schools in the Kediri region.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Keywords</em></strong><strong>: </strong><em>community service, Kediri folk tales</em><em>,</em><em> nusantara fairy tale portal, reading literacy, sekartaji learning community</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat literasi membaca siswa sekolah dasar melalui pemanfaatan cerita rakyat berbasis kearifan lokal Kediri pada guru Komunitas Belajar Sekartaji di Kecamatan Mojoroto, Kota Kediri. Permasalahan utama mitra meliputi rendahnya minat baca siswa, dominasi metode pembelajaran konvensional, serta keterbatasan sumber bacaan yang kontekstual dan menarik. Program ini menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan pemanfaatan portal edukasi <em>Dongeng Nusantara</em>. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap persiapan, sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, workshop kolaboratif, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi guru sebesar ≥80% dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya lokal ke dalam pembelajaran literasi. Selain itu, guru mampu mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis cerita rakyat secara mandiri. Luaran kegiatan berupa modul literasi dan jejaring kolaboratif antar-guru mendukung keberlanjutan program. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs) nomor 4 tentang pendidikan berkualitas dan Rencana Induk Riset Nasional di klaster Sosial Humaniora dan Pendidikan. This program aims to increase the capacity and economic independence of village communities by strengthening micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) based on halal products by utilizing local potential. This activity uses a participatory approach with various methods, including group workshops, Islamic financial literacy training, mapping local economic potential, designing product designs and packaging, and ongoing mentoring. Through collaboration with BTN Syariah and the lecturers of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar, the community gained an increased understanding of halal principles, access to Islamic capital, and a profit-sharing system without usury. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in Islamic financial literacy, awareness of halal certification, and the competitiveness of local MSMEs. A total of 12 superior village products were proposed for halal certification. In addition, this activity had a positive impact on increasing community income, empowering women and youth, and strengthening local cultural identity. This program is a model for sustainable local economic empowerment and supports the vision of “Independent and Impactful Villages” as a concrete manifestation of higher education’s contribution to community development based on Islamic values ​​and sharia economics.</em></p> <p><strong>Keywords: </strong><em>community empowerment, MSMEs, halal products, islamic financial literacy, local potential.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak </strong></p> <p>Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan oleh Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar di Rumah Adat Balla Barakkaka Ri Galesong, Kabupaten Takalar, pada tanggal 5–7 Oktober 2025. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat desa melalui penguatan usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) berbasis produk halal dengan memanfaatkan potensi lokal. Kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dengan berbagai metode, meliputi <em>workshop</em> kelompok, pelatihan literasi keuangan syariah, pemetaan potensi ekonomi lokal, perancangan desain dan kemasan produk, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan. Melalui kolaborasi dengan BTN Syariah dan dosen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, masyarakat memperoleh peningkatan pemahaman mengenai prinsip halal, akses permodalan syariah, dan sistem bagi hasil tanpa riba. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam literasi keuangan syariah, kesadaran sertifikasi halal, serta daya saing UMKM lokal. Sebanyak 12 produk unggulan desa diusulkan untuk memperoleh sertifikasi halal. Selain itu, kegiatan ini berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat, pemberdayaan perempuan dan pemuda, serta penguatan identitas budaya lokal. To respond to the challenges of the times, it is essential for them to continually strengthen spirituality in the workplace and uphold Christian work ethics. Spirituality provides the foundation for service, while work ethics reflect the values of faith. Therefore, Christian educators are called to embody love, faith, and exemplary character in their daily lives, so that teaching and learning become a means of shaping both character and faith in students. Alongside spirituality, work ethics play a vital role in cultivating a healthy Christian school culture. Values such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, and cooperation are expressions of faith manifested in daily actions. Integrity in the field of education not only enhances institutional quality but also provides students with tangible examples for developing holistic character. In this regard, Christian schools particularly Sekolah Klasikal Terang Nusantara (SETARA) must integrate faith into their practices to build education that is relevant, transformative, and rooted in Christ. The implementation of spirituality and work ethics requires renewal to remain responsive to contemporary challenges. Therefore, this Community Service Program (PKM) aims to revitalize understanding of spirituality and work ethics within the academic community of SETARA. Based on the post-PKM evaluation with the school (four months after the program), it was found that the knowledge and performance of the teachers and staff increased by 60% compared to before.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Keywords </em></strong><strong>: </strong><em>christian school, work ethics, workplace spirituality.</em></p> <p><strong>Abstrak </strong></p> <p>Dalam pendidikan Kristen, guru dan staf adalah pendidik sekaligus pelayan dan teladan iman. Untuk menjawab tantangan zaman, penting bagi mereka untuk terus memperkuat spiritualitas di lingkungan pekerjaan dan menjunjung tinggi etika kerja Kristiani. Spiritualitas menjadi dasar dalam melayani dan etika kerja mencerminkan nilai iman. Oleh sebab itu, pendidik Kristen dipanggil untuk menghadirkan kasih, iman, dan keteladanan dalam keseharian, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi sarana pembentukan karakter dan iman siswa. Selain spiritualitas, etika kerja berperan penting dalam membangun budaya sekolah Kristen yang sehat. Nilai-nilai kejujuran, tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan kerja sama menjadi cerminan iman yang diwujudkan dalam tindakan sehari-hari. Integritas dalam dunia pendidikan bukan hanya meningkatkan kualitas institusi, tetapi juga memberi teladan nyata bagi siswa dalam membangun karakter holistik. Sekolah Kristen dalam hal ini Sekolah Klasikal Terang Nusantara (SETARA) perlu mengintegrasikan iman demi membangun pendidikan yang relevan, transformatif, dan berakar pada Kristus. Implementasi spiritualitas dan etika kerja perlu diperbarui agar tetap relevan dengan tantangan kontemporer. Oleh karena itu, program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan memberikan penyegaran wawasan terkait spiritualitas dan etika kerja di lingkungan civitas akademika SETARA.
